Hockley Mint Celebrates Purity of Precious Metals

Birmingham-based jewellery manufacturer Hockley Mint will offer retailers the option to have wedding bands made in ‘pure’ gold and platinum when it unveils a new product range at the Jewellery & Watch trade show in February.

Hockley Mint will be the exclusive UK supplier of these new ‘pure’ wedding rings. The jewellery, which celebrates the beauty of gold and platinum in their purest forms, is hallmarked 999, meaning that it is made from a pure metal rather than any sort of alloy.

Gary Wroe, managing director of Hockley Mint, said: “This new product launch is an exciting opportunity for us and our customers, which in turn offers consumers true value and quality product. Offering customers ‘pure’ gold and platinum rings that are stamped 999 is a real selling feature for retailers, and avoids any potential confusion for consumers about what exactly they are buying.”

The metal will be offered as an additional option for plain wedding rings, while existing product profiles and widths will be available to order in 999.
Hockley Mint will unveil samples of the new 999 platinum and gold wedding bands on its stand (17R30/S31) at the NEC’s Jewellery & Watch show, which takes place from 5th to 9th February 2017.

Hockley Mint, which is based in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and celebrates its 25th anniversary in business in 2017, will also launch a brand new 56-piece collection of classic diamond-set rings at Jewellery & Watch, in different widths and with options for stone coverage.
